Spiritual life
The Piarist Grammar School is a Christian church-maintained school, so spiritual life plays an important role here. For most of the people religion only means they have to go to church on Sundays and for some people it means nothing. But for this school and its students it's a central question. There are masses built-in the timetable and there are several activities which are about the student‘s connection with religion. They also have a team-building aspect. One type of them is a going-out activity which ranges between 1 and 3 days. There are spiritual camp-like programs, too, which last about 6 days. These spirit- and religion-centered programs are very enjoyable, we talk, play and. have a good time. The attempt was always successful. I've taken part in all these programs and I enjoyed them without exception.
In addition we pray before and after school, at the beginning of the first lesson and at the end of the last one. Our praises are:
Before school:
Come, Holy Spirit, Spirit of justice and love.
Give us good soul, mood, diligence and persistence
for the work you've invited us to do
Light up our minds so we will discover the will of God who created everything in the nature and in the human life.
Raise and form us so that we will be able to serve justice all through our lives and earn the gift of eternal life by our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
After school:
Our Lord Jesus Christ
you’re the path which we must walk
the truth what we are looking for
life what is our only happiness.
We give thank for everything we have received from you today
Bless our church, country, parents and teachers
Help
to love each other and every person
as it fits to your disciplines
Let us reach to you by our results and failures.
Guide us to your father
who is praised with you and by you.
Now and forever!
Amen
